ownCloud Failed to create lock file in Linux…

ownCloud is an amazing piece of code! – but that’s a post for another time

However, when using the Linux local sync client, you may come accross an error along the lines of “Failed to create a lock file”, there are many posts arround that suggest to simple remove a particular file add all will be dandy…

In Linux, you can remove this file via terminal using:

rm ~/.local/share/data/ownCloud/lock
ownCloud Failed to create lock file in Linux…
